TGIF! And to celebrate here’s a bit of Spring/Summer street style for you. I’ve featured this H&M Coachella collection kimono before, but it’s just too good not to bring back. This light throw-on is perfect for S/S; not too heavy but adding that extra layer evenings (or even days!) often necessitate. I’ve really been getting into the fringe trend this season. Had you asked me a year ago I’m not sure I’d have come back with an ‘I love it’ type response. But, trust me here, try it and you won’t look back. It adds that bit of interest to a look, making you feel dressed up even when you’re dressed down. Perfect for throwing together an outfit on a moment’s notice!
Here I’ve paired it with strappy sandals and a classic Mulberry bag. These sandals from Dune are a really elegant take on the gladiator. They have the edge of the gladiator with their multiple criss-crossing straps and the way the ankle straps come up above the ankle bone. Yet, the neat way the straps are arranged and the little wedge heel add a touch of classic chic. They really compliment the relaxed style of the kimono, and all-in-all are a perfect Summer shoe. You can wear them with pretty much anything. Same goes for the Mulberry; this bag is such a classic that it adds that touch of class to anything, and with this look it offsets the boldness of the fringe perfectly.
So how do you feel about the fringe trend? Is it a yay or nay for you?
Thanks for stopping by, and apologies for the lack of posts this week – it’s been a little bit hectic over here! But, look out for plenty of looks and more coming up soon!
