With the glorious weather we’ve had here in London this week it seemed appropriate that my final Paris outfit is very definitely a Spring look. The final day of my trip was beautiful. Paris looked stunning in the sun and I spent the morning before getting the train back exploring the Jardins des Tuileries and enjoying a little sunbathing time on the very handy lounger chairs that are all around the edge of the gardens.
Whenever I go to Paris I always have this image of myself as a modern Audrey Hepburn flitting along the streets and sipping wine in cafes. I may not actually be that in reality, but this outfit is my version of a contemporary Audrey. The prettiness of the pastels and the chicness of the hat are so Parisian, and so Audrey. It’s what comes into your mind when you think of Paris in Spring. I’ve thrown in some scenic shots here to prove just why this is.
I love a simple outfit, a jeans and blouse combination can’t be beaten. The hat adds that extra something here. It’s amazing how you add one accessory such as a hat and your outfit is made. I threw on a leather jacket for the early morning and evenings when it wasn’t so warm, it is still April after all! This leather jacket is definitely my transitional season go-to jacket. It’s an essential in every girls wardrobe!
I was sad to leave this beautiful romantic city, but I couldn’t have asked for a better trip and last day. I have one final Paris post for you, it’ll be up in the next week so keep an eye out, and don’t forget to follow along on instagram (@sparklythursdays) and other social media.
